PFAS and 1-4,dioxane Public Hearings Across North Carolina: Speak Up For Clean Water!

PFAS and 1,4-dioxane is showing up in Haw River watershed and around NC, endangering our communities for years. The Environmental Management Commission (EMC) is writing rules that will govern how these contaminants are monitored and controlled across the state.

The problem? These draft rules were written by the polluters themselves, with no real restrictions or consequences for continued toxic discharges. That ends when we show up.  Read this factsheet from Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC).

We need everyone to put these dates in their calendars and plan to attend so we can pack the room. Your attendance and voices are crucial!
