Great Outdoor Provision Co isn’t just one of our all-time favorite stores, they’re also one of our most dependable and generous supporters.  With several store locations in the watershed, they’ve been committed to partnering with us on several important projects.  They’ve sponsored educational film events, they donate a raffle item to our annual Haw River Festival, and they were one of the very first Trash Trap sponsors.  Their support for the Trash Traps in Durham and Greensboro helped us get the program off the ground.  They believed in the program when it was just beginning, providing pivotal resources for building and maintaining our traps.

April 2026 Partner of the Month: The Jester Group at Baird

Mellow Marsh Farm is a special ally and partner for Haw River Assembly. Since 1997, Mellow Marsh has been dedicated to the protection and revitalization of our streams and wetlands. They specialize in the propagation of plant species native to the Southeast, providing plants grown from seed and collected for wetland mitigation, stream restoration, stormwater ponds, rain gardens, and pollinator habitats.

Mellow Marsh Farm has sponsored and supported Haw River Assembly’s mission for nearly 20 years! They are this year’s “Clean Up Champion” Sponsor of our Clean-Up-A-Thon and remain long time friends and allies in our work.

February 2026 Partner of the Month: Maxie B’s

David Jester and the team at The Jester Group at Baird have been dear friends of Haw River Assembly for nearly a decade.  They have been sponsors of and participants in our Clean-Up-A-Thon, and they’ve been champions of the Haw River Island Ramble from the beginning. The Jester Group staff is generous with their resources and their time - they show up with their families to put on boots and gloves to clean up creeks, hand out refreshments and snacks to runners, or introduce us to new friends and supporters. David served as an HRA Board member in the past and now guides us as a financial advisor. 

We’re so grateful to The Jester Group at Baird for being an incredible model of volunteerism and corporate philanthropy - and even more grateful to call them our friends.  Thanks for all you do for the Haw!
