Brenntag: Durham Water Contamination Information Updates

  Brenntag Mid-South, located in Durham, North Carolina, is a regional distributor of chemicals and other industrial products. The facility supplies chemicals to various industries, including agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. However, the plant has been involved in several water quality violations impacting the surrounding community, raising concerns regarding public health and environmental safety. Investigations have found high concentrations of chemicals, including toluene, acetone, and ethanol, in water draining from Brenntag's property.
