Haw River Assembly is excited to partner with Burlington Parks & Recreation and North Carolina Wildlife for the "Teach A Kid To Fish" event on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Children (ages 3-12)  are invited to learn about fishing, boater safety, and lake ecosystems. The cost is $5 per adult, and all proceeds benefit the Haw River Assembly. Haw River Assembly is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to protect the Haw River Watershed.
